Marine Trade Training (MTT) Expansion

Supporting the regional leader in marine skilled trades training through cutting-edge technology and innovative curriculum development

VDMC collaborates with the Virginia Ship Repair Association (VSRA) and the Community College Workforce Collaborative (CCWC) to expand the successful Marine Trades Training courses. These courses include Coatings, Marine Electrician, Outside Machinist, Welding, and Structural Fitting. VDMC conducts learning and content analyses, interviews, and focus groups with subject matter experts to enhance the training curriculum. Courses plan to roll out late 2023 and into 2024.
