Just as existing infrastructure is maintained and enhanced, training programs can be revitalized by incorporating advanced capabilities for the future while preserving and leveraging past successes and investments including the wealth of data that has been collected over time. These legacy training programs have demonstrated intrinsic value over time and should not be discarded and replaced haphazardly in pursuit of developing new systems with advanced technologies and training methodologies. ODIN-EL strives to thoroughly understand the NAMTS training program and its implementation as developers adapt existing systems and incorporate them using modern developmental frameworks.
