Maritime Entry-to-Employment Training
A Resource for Workforce Development and Economic Growth
The Maritime Entry-to-Employment Training (MEET) program is an extension of the successful Coastal Virginia Maritime Advancement Program (COVA MAP) used by over 800 participants, over 300 of which entered the maritime industry.
MEET provides high-quality online pre-entry trades training courses that are reviewed and approved by industry experts in the following maritime trades: outside machinist, marine electrician, mathematics and measuring, and fundamentals of ship rigging. All courses are available to the public on any device.
